"SWEET FRUIT, BITTER TRUTH" is case study compiled by Oxfam Germany about fruit companies in Ecuador and Costa Rica. The report includes issues about inhumane conditions which prevail in various fruit companies working in these countries. In particular, the report deals with:
- Pesticides cause damage to health
- Disregard for trade union rights
- Precarious employment conditions
- Greenwashing
