The petition below was sent to the Colombian government in support of the demand that they provide security for SINTRAINAGRO leaders in the wake of the recent grenade attack. This petition was sent along with a statement calling for international support, and for the Colombian government to act.
4th November 2016 – Tropical Quiz Night
KKG organized another Quiz Night, this time solely on tropical fruit. This was a fun and interesting way to educate attendees on the tropical fruit industry, its workers and unfair practices. We also used the event to spread information on the Urgent Actions.
This activity provides a space where people that would not come for talks or lectures, would gather and still learn a lot about the issues through the questions.
