The Does it Hurt to Think Before you Shop? is a Guide to Ethical Consumption released by Koperattiva Kummerċ Ġust in collaboration with Christian Initiative Romero of Germany. The guide was developed in 2015 as part of the I SHOP FAIR funded by the EU.
The Guide deals with ethical consumption in three areas being Oranges, the Electronics industry and Fashion with a particular focus on flash fashion. The Guide takes into consideration workers' rights and environmental issues concerning these three sectors and makes reference to the local situation. It also provides informal educational activities for teachers and youth leaders.
The Guide is available for download from here
Koperattiva Kummerċ Ġust printed thousands of copies that can be mailed for free to educators, students and anyone who is interested. Copies can be ordered by emailing us on info@l-arka.org.
